Have you registered on the FAFSA web site yet? It doesn’t matter if you will be going to Junior college or a University because you could qualify for financial aid. You will never know unless you apply. Applications go live online January 1st. Go to www.fafsa.gov You will need your parent’s assistance to complete the application so plan ahead!!

EOP&S Eligibility Requirements
What is EOP&S? - Extended Opportunity Programs and Services
Assists students that have an economic and educational need. It is a student support program offering a variety of services to help students realize success in their educational goals. IOP&S is funded through the State of California at the community college level. Services for eligible EOP&S students are: counseling, priority registration, application fee waivers for CSU & UC, lending library, book voucher each semester, assistance with completing FAFSA, tutoring.

Colleges and universities prefer students to apply on-line. If you can't, then you can print a pdf file to mail to the school. University/College catalogs are available in the School to Career Center in the Library/Tech. Center. Scholarship information is available on the web site or in the counseling office.
NCAA
If you are planning to play sports in college including junior college you will need to take the SAT or ACT in order to qualify for eligibility with the NCAA. Information and applications are available on the NCAA website: www.ncaa.org click on Eligibility Center.
